Guest awarner (MVP) Posted December 28, 2009 Report Posted December 28, 2009 Try a soft reset, it could be that you are low on system memory.

Guest InsaneBG Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 I have the solution for you. This issue has to do with a connector on the mobo of the phone - for some reason it partially disconnects, and causes the camera and/or speaker not to work. If it completely disconnects, you won't be even able to start the phone, but when partially disconnected - it only causes some hardware of the phone not to work - imagine physically removing those parts. To fix it, you'll need to open the phone. Here's what I suggest you to do before actually doing that - only remove the back conver of the phone, and press hard where the SD card slot is - then try starting the camera while pressing that spot. If it starts, then you can be 100% sure this is the way to correct it. Even if it doesn't, you could still try opening the phone and trying to manually adjust the connector. In my case, it just won't stay put, so I banded some thin rubber on top of it, which gets pushed toward the connector by the back part of the phone (the one with the screws) which goes on top of it. This is what did it for me. You should look for the "Omnia service manual". There, in the part "Disassembly and Assembly Instructions" (disassembly particularly), you only need to follow the first 4 steps, not further. If you are unsure which connector I am talking about, it is pointed in step 7.
Guest unwichtig Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 (edited) Thanks .. I have tried this .. and over the conector a thin rubber for " more Pressing" . Cam is runing .. :P :( Edited March 29, 2010 by unwichtig
