Guest Richard_Arkless Posted December 28, 2009 Report Posted December 28, 2009 no, it is not possible because this only applies to the cyanogen roms which are for the htc handsets The best way I can see of decreasing the memory usage and making it faster would be to try paul's custom roms, I am a big fan of the u8230 rom because it is soo much faster than the stock t mobile rom and even paul's other rom which is based upon the stock tmobile roms
Guest flash2004 Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 Already running the Vanilla cupcake ROM.. It is definitely faster than the tmobile styled ROM, but I still envy the iphone speed :)
Guest Richard_Arkless Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 (edited) Have you tried the latest vanilla rom from paul (1.2), I took the plunge and updated to the december update and it seemed faster than the old one that tmobile provided then I upgraded to the u8230 and it was a lot more faster than I remembered it to be in 1.1, there was this tiny lag when I moved the app menu up and this was with no apps, now no lag what so ever I would say its definitely worth a try IMO unless I am imagining things As for getting it at the iphone speed, I doubt the android os will be as fast as the iphone os anytime soon, the iphone is awesome but I held off buying it because of the ridiculous prices Edited December 29, 2009 by Richard_Arkless
