Stupid question but is there an app or something that allows me to save apps onto memory card because everytime I upgarde the phone I lose ALL the tons of apps I have. :)

yeah, there is.

but requires rooting the phone (which gives you full access to the kernal)

once the phone is rooted you'd have to put custome firmware on and then you can run apps off the SD card
