Guest Daniel Williamson Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 Hi everyone, ive got a slight problem with my tmobile account and in particular the free allowances. So heres the story, my sister bought the phone for me at the end of november in store, and she said that they registered it and so when i got the phone on christmas day the box had been opened, but the thing is, is that the sim card had not been removed from plastic card and all the packaging was still intact. SO why did they "register it" ? Also becuase of the mandatory top up of £10 i thought that when i turn on my phone and innsert the sim i would be opted into the free internet and texts the following month. SO as one post said for the 5 days leading upto january i decided to purchase the 5 day internet booster. All well came through straight away. But then when i text everyone my new number i see that for the 50 texts i have made none of them have been charged, so you would think that i have free texts and internet. SO basically i have just wasted £2.50 on internet i dont need. So i look on my accounts page on tmobile and on recent use it says this "We could not access all your information, so some of your remaining allowances may not be shown. Please try again later. And it has said this from christmas till today. Also when i text AL for allowences to 150 it says i have no allowences. So why am i recieveing free texts and maybe free internet? Finally i im baffled on to whether to top up or not as i would like free internet and texts in January obviously. SO do i top up now or wait or top up later i dont know ? ? :/ SO please can someone help me, Thanks Daniel

They will be able to tell you what tariff you're on and might even refund you the £2.50 you spent.

Guest Daniel Williamson Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 Update* I decided to email them as the live chat said that i had to be over 18, and they know my ip address. Also i dont have the time to ring them.

Also i dont have the time to ring them. If I ever need them I always email them and they usually ring you within the hour. This way, it costs you nothing.

If the top-up bought with the phone was in November, maybe the free web/text activated for December - in which case you'll need another £10 top up before the end of the year to get January's free web/text. But as others have said, contact T-Mobile. I rang them today with a PAC to transfer my number, and they answered immediately.

I did this and they rang me back straight away. But they then said they need a parent or gaurdian to ring up and get a customer services password? And then i can use that password. Dan
