Broken Touchpal Keyboard

Hi,

Just got my pulse in the recent tmobile offer so I'm a noob trying to work out what the modded roms offer. Anyway I haven't messed about with the stock rom that came from tmobile and I've been using it as is. A couple of days ago it ran out of battery power and the phone switched itself off. Ever since then when trying to compose texts using the touchpal keyboard, it comes up but won't accept any input and then returns me to the main text thread screen (as if touchpal has crashed). I've rebooted the phone but that didn't fix it so I've switched to using the android keyboard whilst I try and resolve this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Rob

Hi welshblob!

Try going into settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications.

Search for the touchpal app and open it.

Then hit the delete Data button and reboot your Phone.

Happened to me too, try pushing the T+ button in the corner to turn of the autocomplete, that worked for me until I updated to MCR

2 things: it's not necessary to reboot and you should also clear out data in the TouchPal Language Pack app.

See more: fix TouchPal from crashing.

Cheers guys. Although changing from T+ worked for the other dictionaries, changing back to T+ crashed it again. Clearing out the data as describe above fixed. it.

Thanks, Rob
