SPB Mobile Shell is the better choice and it is included in the 6.5 ROM.
Guest The Real Mc Coy Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 (edited) I tried and TG01 performed great but it uses far too much room on the rom... I used this : TF3D CAB (from the link you mentionned) : http://rapidshare.com/files/218194087/TF3DHDB3.cab Audiomanager fix (2 CABS) : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...043&page=67 Pretty Tab icons : http://rs553.rapidshare.com/files/15086678...DTABICONSV3.cab Edited December 31, 2009 by The Real Mc Coy
Guest Spooke Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Ahh ok, thank you both, and imo SPB Mobile Shell 'Looks' terrible.. I will stick with the standard WinMo theme for now :), Unless there are some nice SPB Mobile Shell themes?
Guest The Real Mc Coy Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 (edited) BTW : 1) Install TF3D CAB 2) Install 2 CABs for Audio Manager fix 3) Install pretty icons 4) Reboot only after that even if prompted to. And it takes AGES to install first CAB (46MB !!!). And I almost forgot : if I recall well, ComManager Tab does not work. Edited December 31, 2009 by The Real Mc Coy

Guest David Strange Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 not on mine or am i being blind? It is included in some countries, but not the UK alas. Cheers, David.
Guest die_Leuchte Posted January 1, 2010 Report Posted January 1, 2010 It is included in some countries, but not the UK alas. Cheers, David. Oops. sorry I didn't know, anyway I bought it from SPB due to I used it before it was included in the German 6.5 ROM update. I use TF3D on my HD (business device) and NS on my TG01 (private device) and really prefer MS a lot. Within some Screenshots, everythin is possible with SPB: More can be found here: http://www.xda-zone.de/forum/22557-wie-seh...l-chen-aus.html
Guest Medved77 Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 Just gave this ago, been using Mobile Shell for the last 3 months. Manilla felt very 'clunky' and a lot of the sub menus did not work, I guess as it wasn't designed for the TG01 the port over to our platform wasn't don't thoroughly. Weather is an improvement on the offering from MS, liked the stock feature as well which isn't included with MS. Everything else was either on a par with or slightly worse than MS. I've un-installed it now.

If you think it takes long to install try uninstalling, took 40 minutes! Best to backup phone and then restore if you decide you don't want to keep it on your phone.
