Guest jbrittmartin Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 (edited) when i try and send a pic i've taken from my camera through the MMS mode i get the following problems: first i get the message: Image size has exceeded multimedia message limit. Resize image? Yes No so i select Yes and then i get another message box that says Unable to resize image. once i click ok, it just goes back to the home screen. i'm using Adrenalyne's CF03 6.5 M2D ROM version 2.0 on a Verizon i910 any idea on what i can do to fix this? thanks in advance. Guest necosino Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 You can try completely exiting "Messaging" (like open task manager and close it) and then re-open it and retry, that usually works. Or, try a program, like my favorite, Resco Photo Manager (payware), which resizes the photo before sending it to Messaging, so that it is already the correct size. :)
Guest jbrittmartin Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 i've tried backing out of messaging... even reseting... still no luck with that. i'll look around for Resco Photo Manager... but i'd like to have a free fix... :) thanks for your reply though. Guest jbrittmartin Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 (edited) ok, i got Resco Photo Manager... the software looks very slick though.... thanks for the recommendation. i got MMS working. and since we're talking recommendations.... what would you recommend for a music collection manager/player? i really love how easy and fluid the Resco thing is.... and i'd really like something similar for music. That was an issue with Adrenalyne's ROM. I always had that problem too. Using Lioryte's now, no issues.
Guest jbrittmartin Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 yeah i kinda figured. i'm thinking of flashing again.... just trying to find the best M2D ROM out right now... waremike's is looking pretty good at the moment for M2D2 http://omniarom.com/forum/index.php?topic=1178.0 i'll probably flash it soon. Guest nate.mcbride Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 I've had this problem a few times before, always solved it by making sure that my photo quality was not on the absolute highest setting. Resize generally works fine if you take photos on the second highest setting.
