are or did you have this phone on contract if so im 99.9% sure after a certain amount of months (6 i think) or your contract has expired you can go into the shop and ask for the unlock code some places may give it to you for free some may charge a small admin fee worth a try tho or pay someone a tenner

In France you can have it unlocked for free after 6 monthes just by calling the customer care services... I don't know if it's the same in other countries.

I used a person called Antonio that was recommeded by people from the HotUkDeals thread where this was advertised. His Email address is: [email protected] and you can verify he is genuine by Googleing his email address. It cost £10 but I had an email back with an hour with the unlock code :)

I used this person as well to unlock mine, was very quick and of course all worked fine.

£10 is not a lot to pay considering what others are charging.
