Noob to i900 Omnia and MoDaCo

Hi,I'm totally new to MoDaCo,not to mention custom ROMs,but what interests me are the official ROM versions from Samsung

(at least for now)...

So I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to a list of the official ROM updates,or tell me what the latest

official version is.Of course that person will need to know what my Rom version is,and it goes like this:

My device

Version

PDA: i900XXHJ6/ACHJ2

PHONE: i900BUHJ1

Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional

The phone is from the UK and is with a Vodafone ROM

I also downloaded a custom ROM by the name of M2D 28002 from http://www.samsung-omnia.org/rom-discussio...68033/#msg68033 ,and it would be great if someone could tell me more about it.

I don't plan on using it just yet,I'd rather learn more about the official ROMs first and then about the custom ones,but I need a nudge in the right direction!

Also it would be nice if I could update my windows version to 6.5,but I actually don't know what the benefits are,so I'll need some links and posts on that as well.
