Getting East Asian Keyboards (Handwriting Recognition)

Hey guys,

Does anyone know how to get a Chinese/Korean IME Keyboard on the pulse android ROM?

I found a thread on XDA-Devs that shows exactly the kind i want to use:

Ignoring the fact that its from HTC, I tried to install it, by flashing the update.zip provided. Unsurprisingly, after rebooting, it didn't show up in the locale settings or anywhere else.

Any other way i can possible port the HTC version over to the Pulse ROM?
