Guest raburgess Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 I own an iPod Touch and currently charge it through my computer, due to the fact that the iPod chargers are ridiculously over priced. I was wondering if the Hero charger could be used to charge my ipod touch if I swap the usb leads over?
Guest soulehs Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 I'm not 100% sure you can i think the 1A current kicked out by the hero charger is too much for the ipod. I got a 3rd party USB ipod charger from asda for a fiver which is 0.5A.
Guest Baggieboy Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 The previous post is incorect. Having a charger rated at a higher current is not a problem, the charger can't force more current then the charging device wants to take. I use mine for several USB based devices without problems.
