Guest waremike32 Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 (edited) Here's a little package of my own creation: Add/Remove Bounce Scrolling Creates Two links in a Utilities folder in you start menu. They each install cabs of different physics engines. One adds bounce, one removes it. Works to add bounce scrolling to newer 6.5.3 builds Works to remove bounce from standard (old UI) 6.5 and older builds of 6.5.1 Just replaces physicsengine.dll, so no memory loss. *Should be compatible across any 6.5(.X) builds and devices. Untested on 6.1. Please report bugs. Installing main cab activates bounce. Run Bounce Off to disable. Uninstall all cabs to return to your default. Soft Reset required after installing main cab and with each subsequent changing of bounce on/off. Issues: Moving the links breaks the icons. You can change the reg to the new location to restore icons. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo\Start\Utilities\Bounce.lnk] "Icon"="\\Windows\\icobounce.png" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo\Start\Utilities\Bounce Off.lnk] "Icon"="\\Windows\\iconobounce.png" To Do: Further tweak and adjust bounce scrolling Perhaps package into exe or cpl (beyond my capabilities at the moment) Use Higher Res Icons for VGA/WVGA devices *Please Report Bugs WM32_Bounce_v3.cab Edited December 31, 2009 by waremike32
Guest jbrittmartin Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 pardon my ignorance, but what's scroll bounce? :) i'm currently running build 23016.... but i'm thinking of flashing to your new M2D2 ROM.

Your build already has bounce scrolling I believe. It's basically when scrolling, there is a slight bounce at the end of the list. Also the ability to pull up/down the last entry on a list when scrolling. You can use this to disable your bounce if you like.
