Really slow!

Hi

Why do I get lag when typing also when I load up the page with all the applications.

I find the phone generally laggy doing anything it freezes for like 2 seconds then resumes.

You might be running quite a few program in the background that are slowing the phone down. Get hold of the free Taskiller from the market place and use it to close off a few apps that you are not using. It will free up some RAM and hopefully CPU cycles as well.

I am getting some lag too. I'm running the latest 8250 ROM.

Do you have a tool to tell you your load average (e.g. Astro File Manager Process Manager)?

Mine seems to be up around 5 most of the time (in my Linux experience, anything above 1.5 is considered too high!).
