2.73.1100.5 in Belgium !

I just received my Hero this night :) and of course I want to install market enabler because here in Belgium ...

I have read all your procedures but the firmware seems to be different (2.73.1100.5), did someone here already installed an MCR on this revision ?

I suppose that I need to go via a goldcard ?

This is a .5 ROM which works with the flashrec method. It is only the Tmobile and Telus versions that require GoldCards currently.

It should be simple, google 1 click rooting to install the patched recovery image and then you should be able to flash any Rom and radio you like.

I also live in Belgium and I did this using GoldCard method without any problems- the phone is a lot faster now

I used only the flashrec method like danH48 said and it works perfectly !

I use now the MCR 3.0 with latest radio. It was very easy !

And now market is open :)
