Guest zeus_hunt Posted January 1, 2010 Report Posted January 1, 2010 I was thinking there should be a Sticky or a Topic enlisting Must Have/Excellent Apps from the MarketPlace. So go ahead please mention the Apps you love the most and ones you can recommend Others.. If possible provide a small description of the App/why u love it so much.

Guest Uxian Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 I think there should be one App for these 2 Astro (mentioned above) does these as well app backup (on top of being a decent file manager).
Guest Timmay! Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 "Toggle Settings" is pretty good Has a lot of quick toggles for settings that you will want to change pretty often (wifi, bt etc) as well as an inbuilt task manager that also shows phone status (memory/ram/sd storage/battery percentage) - I have found that I use the task manager in this more than task killer.
Guest Rocky7 Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 Turn it silent ... turn face down at night for peace and quiet. handcent SMS ... should be the default SMS app Facebook ... obv FeedR ... great RSS reader RecordIt ... Sky+ remote recorder, essential when someone says "are you watching xyz ?" when you are in the pub. LolCats ... the "totally looks like" lols are superb Spotify ... have the premium subscription so use this app Was going to say Better Keyboard but I am loving Swype, it even works well as a normal keyboard
Guest Uxian Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 RecordIt ... Sky+ remote recorder, essential when someone says "are you watching xyz ?" when you are in the pub. One thing to mention with RecordIt - it's a copy-protected app so not available to those who don't have full Market access and haven't rooted to enable it. Great app though. My own list: LOLcats - Great way to pass a few bored moments Weatherbug - reasonable weather app with multiple locations and aGPS support for local weather CoPilot Live - Not the best navigation in the world but incredibly cheap (especially if you want to add international maps like USA - £70 total compared to £400 for a TomTom with USA support) Astro - Handles almost anything you need to do with files and apps beebPlayer - BBC iPlayer on your Liquid Shazam - Identify music tracks you hear on TV or the radio
Guest dawabz94 Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 Handcent SMS (best sms program in existence) I was loving "Handcent SMS" but it does not handle MMS very well and had issues sending a big load of SMSs for the new year, uninstalled ... :-(
Guest dawabz94 Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 I personnaly love the QuickReboot utility :) Aldiko(ebook reader) rocks - all android included iTranslate PixelPipe Shazam ToggleBlue/ToggleWifi TuneWiki Wapedia ShootMe (to take screenShot - for rooted devices) ConnectBot to access my linux server from everywhere for Kids Zebra Paint Kids Paint
Guest Ogglord Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 With risk of being a besserwisser, please fix the title typo! Eg: "Must Have Apps from Market" Thanks! :)
