Where can I get a spare USB cable?

I'm looking for a spare USB cable to allow me to charge the Pulse in the car - is it a standard cable or does anyone know what other cable will work?

yeah its a standard USB cable. New USB standard which came out i think 2 years ago now. Called Micro-USB

you can get them for like 2 pound including p&p off fleebay (but be careful on fleebay some people are selling Mini-USB cable saying in the description its compatible with Pulse but the Pulse requires a Micro-USB so get the right one!)

Its a slightly tight fit but works well and it is retractable so happy with it. Price is good too.

when i plugged in my universal one from tescos it messed up the phone and refused to charge over night, took a while to get it the battery back in shape, so be careful, i really screwed the phones battery up.

after i got home and the battery was dead from charging in the car, i left it on charge all night and then i unplugged it and it was dead.

the only way to bring it back was to turn it off and then charge it up.

didnt make much sense to me.

I have used the above cable for charging both my t-mobile pulses, connecting to pc including messing about with the modaco roms, etc... Not had any issues.

incedently for any one wondering the cheap microusb car chargers from ebay work fine on the pulse

Hello,

I have bought a car ciggerate lighter with USB from Poundland yesterday for charging my T-mobile Pulse in car. Has anyone tried it yet? Although I am going to try it but if anyone already had bad experience with this, I won't.

Also there was a USB charger for AA/AAA batteries in Poundland which comes with a USB cable very similar to one you need for T-mobile pulse. As above, I haven't tried it yet but will see if it works. I was thinking of using it as spare charger with USB lighter in car.

Im using my usb charger in the car no problem.

I had to return my original pulse and I "forgot" to put the old sd card and charger cable back in the box. Silly me!

I bought it for pulse from 7dayshop at £1.99 delivered. Be careful while ordering as there are two types of Usb Micro cables (Micro A and Micro B ) and pulse works with Micro-B connector.

Ordered mine on the 5th Jan and got it today.

It's now charging my Pulse nicely.

I wouldn't say the fit was any tighter than the original cable.

Good to hear, am still quite impressed with the build quality, the cable seems pretty strong and will be difficult to damage.

How long is the cable?, just i find the standard one too short at i guess 1m. There is a Belkin one on Amazon for £2 (incp&p from Amazon not an external retailer) and thats 1.8m. Seems like a bit of a deal to me.
