Google Sky Map

I have a problem with google sky map. For some reason the stars and constellation lines show up as black, on a dark background.

I thought this was just bad design by google as the text is visible, just not the stars themselves (since they are black). You can faintly see them if you look hard.

However, a couple of days ago i saw that they were white when it was running on a G1.

I've tried hard to find a setting to change the colour but can't. Anyone know why it would be black stars on the liquid??
