Guest Rubber Ducky Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 Is there any way to improve the camera slowness and lack of taking picture in dark area ?? I guess not... More light means faster and sharper picture. If you want better pictures you should get a normal camera. Phone camera's never seem to do the job right.
Guest stevenz Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 Without a flash there's not really much you can do about it. The camera on the Hero is for taking pictures of static objects in well-lit environments only, it's not much good for anything else.
Guest Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 Camera Zoom FX improved the quality of the pics I was taking, the shutter seems quicker and it has modes to get better shots in lower light situations. It's about a Pound on the market. Still nowhere near as good as the camera on my very old Sony Ericsson phone though, sadly.
Guest DickieUK Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 just my 2 cents, but i had one of the 2.0/2.1 builds on my hero the other day, and i can honestly say the camera quality in dark/poorly lit situations was dramatically improved! I think that it was managing its auto light and auto ISO settings better as in darker pictures it was definitley grainier, but a lot lighter. Anyone aware if we can take a working camera app from these builds and insert them into MCR3.0 in the normal fashion?? Not tried a 1.6 build, the camera might be better in those builds too??? Dickie.
