Guest Laurie9300 Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 (edited) Firstly, Thank you for visiting my thread! I would appreciate any feedback, suggestions or criticisms you may have. I am cooking for my own use but I would also like to contribute, & would be thrilled if others enjoyed my ROM(s). Secondly, Thanks to all the Master Chefs who pioneered ROM building for our Omnias:- Sector, Shokka9, Pako777, Wozza & many more. Thirdly, Thanks to the new breed of Chefs at OmniaRoms.com who have helped me through the long process of learning to cook:- Nick for his working kitchen & waremike for SYS Updates & answering my many questions. You can visit at http://www.omniarom.com/ As an SPB Mobile Shell I user I wanted to have a ROM with NO Titanium & NO M2D. There are many Titanium & M2D ROMs out there to choose from. I also use 3rd party apps for most things so I wanted to strip as much as possible. Hopefully my builds will get even lighter as they progress & I learn more. Please read up on how to flash your phone before you proceed. Flashing is done entirely at your own risk. I am not responsible for any damage that may be caused! So these are builds 23566 & 23116 (DXID1, 12Mb page pool (seems to run faster)) NO PHONE PART! Guest ock Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 (edited) Like the honey-combed theme. Just one suggestion: How about zipping up your roms to save some of upload time? This also acts as an additional protection against corrupted downloads. Congrats on your first rom! Edited January 4, 2010 by ock

Guest Laurie9300 Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 How did you get the topbar to work. On my rom and all the other 6.5 roms I have tried it deletes the bottombar. Hi Naruto, Nice of you to visit. I am new to cooking so I am really only feeling my way. I am using Wozza new kitchen. When I made an OEM package out of the cab & cooked it in, it didn't work properly (but the bottom bar still showed up). So next I extracted the cab & threw all the .dll files into OEM Apps & it worked. I had to also make a .lnk for the BtIconNotifier.exe & add a line into the initflashfiles.dat file in OEM_Lang_0409 folder to copy it to Windows\Startup & that's all. I do know that some taskbars don't work with the later builds though. Give this one a try, the link is a couple of posts above.............good luck

Guest Laurie9300 Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 28205 On first post. Pretty much the same as my last build. Some housekeeping done & fixed some theme issues........enjoy!
Guest Laurie9300 Posted January 16, 2010 Report Posted January 16, 2010 23518 on first post, even lighter than my last build, New Fire theme, cleaned up Start Menu\Settings\System. Not a single post since my last build, either no-one is interested or my build is that good that no-one has a single criticism or suggestion. Come on guys let me know what you think!
Guest plguzman Posted January 16, 2010 Report Posted January 16, 2010 I would love to test your ROM, but the Program Memory is just 52Mb. With Program Memory over 60Mb I would test it. Cheers!
Guest fattmatt Posted January 16, 2010 Report Posted January 16, 2010 +1 And the Btar fix. Keep up the good work though. Matt.
Guest Laurie9300 Posted January 16, 2010 Report Posted January 16, 2010 I would love to test your ROM, but the Program Memory is just 52Mb. With Program Memory over 60Mb I would test it. Cheers! Program Memory is 57Mb after Hard Reset without the screen capture program running. But I will take that as a personal challenge & be even more ruthless. O.K. if I PM you with my results?
