Hey guys,

I got a stupid question related to XDA_UC that after searching the forum I was unable to find a concise answer for. On most of the Roms listed through the forum it brings up creating the XDA_UC folder on the storage card for silent installs. My question, is this required? Is the XDA_UC only used if I have cabs that I want installed outside of what is listed on a particular ROM? or is this a necessary step in the flashing process. I would assume that any particular ROM already houses all of the cabs listed in the description and for the most part I do not have any must haves other the SPB backup and a few games.

Either way, sorry for the stupid question.

The best thing about it is that any applications that you would typically install after the flash are installed automatically in whatever location you want them. Automatic customization! It's a huge timesaver if you have several applications you install and use regularly. On the other hand, if you don't need it, you don't have to use it.

Thanks for the reply. I figured as much but I thought better to ask then miss out on something. In the meantime I will scour the world of cabs and see if there is anything that I really need put in.

Thanks.
