Save video from mms message

The topic pretty much describes what I want to do, save a video from an mms message I received, pretty sure it isn't auto saved to sd card because I checked. On the mssage only play option available.

I am really surprised if there is no standard way to do this on basic android OS?

If not, what app, or hacking or rooting do I need to do.

I think I noticed the same thing being missing! Pretty basic eh!
