Always crop wallpapers?

This is beginning to really annoy me now. No matter what size I create a wallpaper, the phone ALWAYS wants to crop it... Is there ANY way around this? Am I creating images the wrong size? Tried 640x480, 960x480, tried downloading some from various Wallpaper apps, setting them, coping them to the PC and editing, copying back and it STILL wants to crop it!

Help!

Never mind, didn't realise I could resize the damn box... >.< Sorry!

That is because the phone is asking you two things when it uses the crop tool: 1. where on the image do you want the home screen to be set. 2. what zoom level do you want it at.

Yeah, after opening my eyes and actually looking at what I was doing, I realised I can actually resize the box and stretch it out over the entire image... :)

is there a way to-do it without cropping because, the crop section doesnt fit over the whole picture i want, even though the picture is the right size for my phone screen!!

So annoying.
