Problem for typing or answering a SMS

Hi again.

I have a small issue with my liquid.

In the Messaging application, when I touch the text zone to answer or to write a new SMS, the liquid doesn't react.

I need to touch several times to open the keyboard.

It's not related to the screen because the same screen area reacts perfectly in other applications.

I have the ROM 1.002.05 EMEA GEN1 and the Liquid is rooted but it was already the same before "rooting".

Do you have the same? Is there a workaround?

Yeah, the same on mine, but if you press and hold the menu button you can force the keyboard to appear.

My advice would be to get rid of the default messaging app and download Handcent SMS. Its free, and known to be the best SMS program for android. I haven't had any issues with keyboards popping up when using this program :)

I have the feeling that when touching the screen near the botom screen, you have to tap a little above the rgion you want to reach, which can make the you beleive that the text box does not understand the request but it simply that you have to tap a little above

Any one noticed something similar ?
