Guest tacchan23 Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 Hello, I'm looking for some more brave souls to test my theme here: http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-verizo...tacchan23black/ In the link above you can find a test version for WQVGA, if someone want to give it a try and post some screenshots and comments (mostly about the size of selectors/scrollbars and distance between items)

I'll try the cab and post some feedback/screens. The only issue I had was, with most text converted to white, on certain apps it made the text unreadable...like dotfred's taskmanager for example.

I am going to flash now and i tell you... :)
Guest Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 WAIKIKI728 can you tell me what taskbar do you use, and where can i download? Thanks :)

Thanks:) let me know if I did something wrong/different from your port too, I'm still learning^^ I think it depends on the applications... for example SKtools new versions fixed the problem after a couple of emails I sent them
Guest WAIKIKI728 Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 (edited) WAIKIKI728 can you tell me what taskbar do you use, and where can i download? Thanks :) Here.. Apologize to the author...i don´t really know who did this...i found surfing internet but i really forgot where B) P.D.:Tachan your theme looks cool but i you admit request...can you make black pin dialer also?¿... Also i use flotanium and instead you don´t use icons in your themes...when you decide to do it ..can you modify the shellress file for showing the start icon in titanium... When i make soft reset or when i turn on and off my omnia i loose this icon in the titanium panel....i asked for it and they told me that this problem had to be with this file.... I know it´s not so easy..take your time...your theme is good enough..._6__NiaxColor.Arm.CAB Edited January 7, 2010 by WAIKIKI728

Do you have any idea why the pivot bar looks so bad in the QVGA version? the cab you made looks the same too or better? Also any comments about size/distance of menu/lists/selector is appreciated.

Ok thanks, I'll make another text version soon. if the pivot background image is fixed, I'll try porting the newer version and addons
Guest eufouria Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 Using the test V4 with no problems, text can be tough to make out at times but the outlook inbox has never looked so good!
Guest tacchan23 Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 Using the test V4 with no problems, text can be tough to make out at times but the outlook inbox has never looked so good! Text come out smaller than normal too? :) Can you post any screenshots?
Guest eufouria Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 (edited) Sorry it took me a couple days : This seems to be the only problem I've run into so far, although the soft key buttons at first glance could use some refinement I've grown accustomed to them. Any chance for a V6 wqvga? *Edit* Just saw your last post in the official thread, looking forward to V7! The start/ok buttons look terrific! Edited January 13, 2010 by eufouria
Guest tacchan23 Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 which programs are you using in the screenshots? is that the standard tmail.exe and onenote? anyway I guess I can't do anything to fix it... there was the same problem with older versions of SKtools too, and they fixed it in newer releases after a couple of mails I sent them:) doubt Microsoft would do the same^^
Guest TarekIC Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 I tried the v4 version and it works like a charm. The only reservation I have is that the pop up menus are a bit small and not very finger friendly. If you could use a lightly larger font it would make selecting element much easier. I am using it with this sms skin: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...mp;postcount=39, and it looks fantastic.

And please don't change the size of the menu's all larger menu's require scrolling.
