Guest sonyxperiax2 Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 I red that there is an hack for the HD2 to improve video recoding quality. All it is to modify a registry value. The same hack for b7610 ( i think this is the same for i8000) is not working. Do you know if there is a way to impove it? Serching in the registry i found this: HLM\software\microsoft\pictures\camera\oem\videoprofile\1\ or 2\ this value: VideoOnlyFileSizePerSecond I tried to increase this value but without result. I think that this is linked to the basic windows camera application. Is it? Is there a way to use it eventually? Hope that we can improve video quality more than double like HD2 can.. Thank you :)
Guest ErnstJanF Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 I think Samsung has hardcoded a lot of stuff into their ROM. We can't just edit them in the register like HTC's.
