Messages with double contacts

Hi there,

So yesterday I decided to root my Hero and install MoDaCo ROM. Everything went well, and I must say that my phone seems to be a lot faster. Really nice ROM, to be honest I really don't have experience with other ROM's. There is one problem, if I am creating a text message (sms) and want to add a contact person, is see all contacts double with the same number.

To visualize my problem take a look at this screenshot:

I only have one "Marina" in my contacts, but as you can see in the image it shows Marina two times with the same number. I really don't know what is wrong. I only use Google as my contacts source.

My software versions:

Radio: 63.18.55.06JU_6.35.09.26

MoDaCo Custom ROM 3.0 Core

maybe because you have one number of marina on your sim card and another stored on your phone..

You are correct uk786, I indeed had one on my SIM and one on Google. But the stupid part is that in my Contacts settings, I have disabled all contact sources (SIM, phone) except Google.
