Hello!

I've got really really big problems.. :)

Yesterday I flashed my Omnia like 30 times before. I've used Win7 and Grand Prix.

I only flashes Eboot, Costumer and Pda.bin. Not the Phone part. grand prix said "Job done"

After Flashing the screen gets black. No reaction.

The power button is read, the screen black. No boot screen or other sign of life.

Softreset and HW Reset with keys didn't bring any reaction.

The power cable was plugget in the whole night, without any effort.

The I900 isnt recognized from WMDC or Grand Prix anymore, so I'm not able to flash again B)

What else can I try?

Did you flash the eboot without flashing the compatible PDA?... eboot, pda, customer csc must be compatible with each other... what is your pda version before flashing? and what eboot version did you flash?

I've flashed the three files (eboot, CSC and pda) from an Rom of Rom Coocker Norrin Raid. All three parts belog together.

The only difference between the 20-30 sucsessfull flashings before was, that I reinstalled my machine bevore. This means it was the first flashing on my laptop after reinstalling Win7.

Maybee it effected this somehow.

No matter, it seems that I have to send it to Samsung to repair (hopefully it well be done for warranty). Any idea about the cost if not?

I guess I'll get back a brand new one with superb 6.1 Rom.

Yesterday my Omina 2 arrived, so that I'm going to sell my I900 when i'll got it back, not sure if i should sell it as new untuched 6.1 or if i should flash a custom rom to 6.5 bevor selling, what do You guess?

I did succesesfully flash the new omnia 2 yesterday on my womens stupid old IBM Thinkpad T23 XP Notebook, It's one thing to make a mistake, it's another to make the same mistake twice!

(it would be interesting to know how the technicans from samsung can do it now)

They will replace the board.... if you have warranty then there will be no cost... but if you don't.. you have to pay 80% of the brand new omnia... or pull it out from the samsung repair center and send it to someone who has jtag and can repair dead omnia,,, it's really safer to use xp and .exe file for updating your omnia...X_X
