Guest nig3d Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 Why Omnia decides to start activesync every now and then, even if it's not linked to the pc? Is it needed? Can be removed? thank you for the answers.

Guest JaCoL Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 honestly ? f**k the script ;) I Found this tutorial and seems to work on my i900 :) U need this great tool that i use - http://www.dotfred.net/TaskMgr.htm ALL-in-ONE Task Manager + Total Commander PPC and here is a tutorial: 1. Disable the Repllog Notification (Apprunaftertimechange) in the Notification Window.(recommmend fdc taskmanager for this) 2. Registry hack [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ActiveSync] locate value "KeepAlive" change this to "0" for disabled. (If not - make it) 3. Use fdcsoft's registry editor to tap and hold "KeepAlive" and select "Export..." (or chose from file menu) This will export this one value to a .reg file. Put this file in your \\Windows\StartUp folder. Now if you don't already have a program to "run" .reg files, you need to associate them with TaskMgr. 4. Using Total Commander, tap and hold your .reg file and select "Properties". Select "Associate" tab. Tap the gray box that says "Associate..." In the "Command:" box, reference the location of TaskMgr.exe (ex. \Program Files\FdcSoft\TaskMgr\TaskMgr.exe) In "Parameter:" box, leave the "%1" and add "/silent" (%1/silent) This keeps a dialoge box from popping up. 6. "OK" the changes and enjoy! Testing from 11 hours now - and AS never wake up again B)
