Just loaded MoDaCo rom, great thanks alot:D, very smooth.

Upgraded the radio's. Ha and only have the phone a day:D

My eyes are Bleeding trying to figure this one out!,

I take it by installing 3.0 root access is set back to default?

I am now trying to get root access or super user,

I saw something mentioned about root pack and loading it up the usual way,

rootpack.zip etc..

I cannot find suck a file?

Can someone give me a quick noob tutorial on this?

I have searched and searched.

Does Super user have to be dual booted in some sort of way? ext3?

and is the only real root accessed with Adb shell only?

Got it working on the Mac so i was good up util this:(

Sorry and finally how will one know when they have root access,

Download a widget which requires it like overclock?

If you are using MCR then you have root already. Very few apps require it and you'll get a dialog asking you to allow it when they do.
