Screen cut off when using the phone

Sorry for such a noob question but is there any way to make the screen stay on when your actually on the phone.

Liquid is a great device but this particular niggle is driving me nuts !!

Hmm dunno if that is possible. Proximity sensor is used to turn display off when phone is against your face to prevent accidentally pressing on-screen buttons. Although it would make sense to make that detection faster so you wouldn't have to wait such a long time for that display to activate again.

Turning off proximity sensor:

Settings -> Call settings -> Advanced settings -> Set P-sensor sensitivity -> [x] Off

Prolonging screen timeout:

Settings -> Screen & display -> Screen timeout

wont change the timeout during call

It won't? B) Haven't actually tested, just assumed it would be the same setting. :)

Search this one "Shake Awake" on market, it can solve your issue.
