i just installed modaco custom rom

and my device keeps restarting ... hero logo ... htc logo ... hero logo ... htc logo

what should i do?

did the flash fail?

i need a quick answer, pls

Were you running an old, stock build before installing?

If so, did you wipe before install.

To do this, boot to recovery (Home+Power after turning phone off) and choose Wipe.

A wipe will normally fix stuff like this. If that doesn't fix it, try flashing the update.zip again.

If this doesn't fix it, some more details will be needed (eg. what device, what ROM before the install, which MCR you're installing, what you've done ie. recovery flashing etc(

i took out the battery, wiped it (i did wipe it before flashing) and the phone booted

i checked the "about" page and it now runs modaco custom rom 3.0

(i will install wavesecure addon and the radio soon)

do i leave it as it is?

(btw sorry for the topic name and details, i panicked, got scared ...)
