Hello,

After reading tons of reviews and cons and pros of omnia pro I would like to give it my final test af actually play with a phone a bit. See the screen in live action, write a text message so I can find out myself if it is really what I am looking for, etc. Can anyone say which network has it or any other mobile companies (phones4u, carphonewarehouse,...) has the actual device so it can be played a bit before buying? Cheers.

I m sorry for multipost. it is my crappy internet. Please delete other posts. Thanks and sorry again.

I wouldn't recomand that because samsung has some skinned applications on top of windows 6.1 and 6.5

Those apps are really sluggy, slow, lagging ...

So if you would like to 'test' it you should have a clean wm6.5 / wm6.1 rom.

Just buy the phone ;-) you won't regret it.

Maybe I didn't explain enough. I am aware of the crappy, slow buggy software that comes with the phone and the first thing I would do after getting a phone I would flash it with cooked ROM:) What I wanted to really test is keyboard responsiveness and how good/bad it actually is. Don't get me wrong. I heard only good things about it but I would really appreciate testing it personally.

Few days ago I went to O2 and tested one blackberry keyboard against nokia E72. The difference was HUGE! Damn, that RIM knows how to make keyboards. When you first look at nokia e72 and blackberry (don't know the model no) they look identical. Don't be fool. Using nokia keyb was a nightmare, constant mistakes and errors. Plastic, plastic, and once again plastic s***. Blackberry on the other hand was fantastic! Practically NO mistakes. Pressing the buttons was firm and responsiveness of this keyboard was just great. Why am I writing all of this? Because I don't fancy spending £350 on a new shiny amoled screen gadget with crappy nokia e72 feel-like keyboard... So that was a reason for my my question in a first place. If you can help me with this, it would be great!:)

I have had several pda's.

some normal nokia's (3310 etc)

nokia NGAGE (symbian os)

some old ipaq's (without phone )

eten G500

Ipaq data messenger -> with keyboard

eten M700 -> with keyboard

and now the Samsung B7610 -> with keyboard.

on M700 the kayboard lags some times. or if you type to fast, the device can't follow.

as far as I can tell, the keyboard of this device response well/fast.

But I can't tell you if that is of a good hardware keyboard or a fast cpu that can handle a crappy driver.

( on M700 is was just a crappy driver, someone wrote a new one and the keyboard didn't lag anymore )
