Guest Jammez Posted January 9, 2010 Report Posted January 9, 2010 (edited) Hi guys, This is my first post in the forum, and realise I should probably have posted an intro somewhere else first; I'm eager :) In the /data/apps directory on the pulse there's a MMITest_II_B115sp02.apk file. Had a look through the resources, and it looks like some kind of service/test application for use during repair (has accelerometer and button test for example). The application can't be launched directly, as it's missing a main activity (though I'm sure Huawei have made it accessible one way or another; boot key combo?) Anyone else seen this on their travels? JD. Edit: This is listed as a system app (MMI Test II) Double edit: ...and has the permission to start at boot-up, so is almost certainly invoked through a startup key combo Edited January 9, 2010 by Jammez

They're in the wiki, although I can't actually remember the link!
Guest Jammez Posted January 9, 2010 Report Posted January 9, 2010 I'm pretty sure this can be launched by one of the "secret key combos". They're in the wiki, although I can't actually remember the link! Didn't think of checking there (><!); thanks for that! MMI test is listed in the phone diagnostics menu (*#*#2846579#*#*); haven't figured out how to make it work yet, though. :)
