I had the problem with the latest 523xx build, but not with 28230 lite. Currently using it and it works fine. But only after I did the change of operator settings, which is not working for you...

Try with ADC.cab (it's here @modaco somewhere-search or google it).

hi,

My omnia doesn't restart automatically even:

1. After press the reset hole.

2. After hard reset

3. After soft reset.

It switches off , and i have to return ON the omnia i900 manual with power switch on the top.

Need help and advice to resolve this issues

1. Battery is full

2. Offical ROM DZAI5 used

3. Didn't change the anything else?

When you install it, it pick up english language.

I have spbshell 3.5.3 the latest one and it is working great, the add widget is in the same place that you can find it in spbshell, when installing there are three options, just choose mobile sense, I haven't tried the other two options one is Omnia and the other one I don't remember, in fact it works even faster than spbshell and it looks very nice. I was looking for HTC digital clock for long time and finally I got it, very happy with it and it is free also, I had tried changeskin before but this one is outstanding

- sometimes shut off one running program.

I have the same issue. it just shut off and need to manually press the power-on. I switched back to 24001 but would love to try 23534 with M2D.

I delete these items(AlarmWatcher, Datakeeper, Delete_RO, LargeDisplayStart, poutlook, SipListerner, TimeWizard) normally.

Windows\StartUp item explains.

AlarmWatcher : no information about the maker of the file. The program is not visible.

The program starts when Windows starts.

DataKeeper : continuously monitors file activity in the background and makes compressed backups on the fly,

keeping you protected against data loss.

Delete_RO: no idea

LargeDisplayStart: to show large display (old Today screen)

poutlook: You don't need it because it is just an application to manage your mms, sms, emails, your calendar and

your contacts and you can find plenty of third party equivalent programs on the internet.

The real mail application is tmail, and this one you definitely need.

RiBubble: If you disable RiBubble and if you using SIM PIN number which is asked you before Today screen starts is

bypassed and phone is started without operator connection. So you must switch off then on phone from

Comm Manager again to show PIN entry form.

So I enabled RiBubble. But if you don't use SIM PIN, i think you probably don't need RiBubble.

sddaemon: speed dial that allows you to use for voice dialing to make calls or to execute applications & is unnecessary

because sddaemon is executed when voice dailing is press.

I've been using 28230 for three days now, It is beautiful, very responsive (there is a few places where it hangs a little but it is OK). But I have this problem with Fring program: It installs OK but when it tries to connect to the Internet it either crashes or keep itself in a loop without actually using the internet (The phone itself connects to the internet but the software doesn't see that!). I tried connecting through WLAN and 3G without success.

When I was on 28205 it was OK, but on this one it's not working... Does anyone else have such a problem?

I have installed the extra lite 28227 ROm on my 900i. It works great except for Exchange 2010 sync. Get an error 0x80070057. Reading other forums (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493447&page=2) it would seem to be a problem with the ROM. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix.

You can install Omnia programs by yourself.

Mini-Howto's:

1. Enable wake up by front/any button: This ROM was set by default to front button. Go to settings>Personal>Buttons>Wake up and select what you want.

2. Cannot connect to internet: Go to Settings>Connections>Operator settings, Set a different operator than yours wait for 30 secs and then re-enable your default one.

3. Using XDA_UC to install programs automatically Thanks to Noonski

Included in Lite and Extra Lite ROM are XDA UC, which is a brilliant way of installing all your usual cabs after a flash using mort script. The process is fully automatic and requires no user intervention (unless you want to install onto My storage/ Storage card). It will commence a few seconds after starting up and MUST NOT BE INTERRUPTED. Readmore about it HERE. This is how to do it:

3.1. Create a XDA_UC folder on the root of your storage card. In this folder, copy all the cabs you want to have installed onto the main memory.

3.2. In the XDA_UC folder, create a folder called SD. In this folder, place all the cabs that want to install onto Storage card/ My Storage. You will have get the option where to install them. Please note, if you install a cab that needs restarting after install (e.g Office), DO NOT restart, wait til everything’s installed and then restart manually (You will get a message when it’s all done) >>Thanks to Master Nick :D

Known issues: (still unable to solve right now)

1. Finger mouse doesn't work.

It's already there - go to tools favorite hackings and enable it there. after soft reset it works perfectly.

P.S. you might want to reduce the size of the scrollbars to 10 for example :D again with the same tool

How can I change the the handset speaker volmue in the Secret Audio menu, because it's too loud (set minimum)? I've changed it, but the program doesn't remember the settings. Please help! Sorry for my bad english.! THX

Hi, I had the same problem. With this rom, you have to use the program (included by PDhee) :AudioGainControl.

In my case, I wanted to increase the alarm volume, for that, I made the next settings:

NotInCall

NotInCall_HandSet

Common Part

Speaker Volume

SPK LEFT = -1.5

SPK RIGHT = -1.5

Click Menu, then Save.

You can install Omnia programs by yourself.

Mini-Howto's:

1. Enable wake up by front/any button: This ROM was set by default to front button. Go to settings>Personal>Buttons>Wake up and select what you want.

2. Cannot connect to internet: Go to Settings>Connections>Operator settings, Set a different operator than yours wait for 30 secs and then re-enable your default one.

3. Using XDA_UC to install programs automatically Thanks to Noonski

Included in Lite and Extra Lite ROM are XDA UC, which is a brilliant way of installing all your usual cabs after a flash using mort script. The process is fully automatic and requires no user intervention (unless you want to install onto My storage/ Storage card). It will commence a few seconds after starting up and MUST NOT BE INTERRUPTED. Readmore about it HERE. This is how to do it:

3.1. Create a XDA_UC folder on the root of your storage card. In this folder, copy all the cabs you want to have installed onto the main memory.

3.2. In the XDA_UC folder, create a folder called SD. In this folder, place all the cabs that want to install onto Storage card/ My Storage. You will have get the option where to install them. Please note, if you install a cab that needs restarting after install (e.g Office), DO NOT restart, wait til everything’s installed and then restart manually (You will get a message when it’s all done) >>Thanks to Master Nick :D

It's already there - go to tools favorite hackings and enable it there. after soft reset it works perfectly.

P.S. you might want to reduce the size of the scrollbars to 10 for example :D again with the same tool

yeh, im using 23519, there seems to be a bug with the sms.. it sometimes hangs. either the keypad doesnt want to pop up or will not open messages in inbox.. only way to get normal sms functionality is to soft reset.. which is quite annoying especially when my device takes at least 2 mins to boot up fully, having spb and all... i think it only messes up when receiving a sms while u are in the inbox or when u receive a call when composing a message... i will try the sms fix posted by cruddasj..

Hi mr. dhee or others in the forum. is there any way to make youtube play? when i click on a youtube link, it takes me to windows media player but it will not play the video. it always say network or transport error. i tried installing also the streaming player and it doesn't play the youtube videos either when i click on a youtube link. my browser is opera mobile 10. i'm using ph_dhee's 21891 lite rom. it gets very frustrating since i've been trying to find a solution to this limitation for quite some time now. i'm even contemplating on going back to the stock rom because nobody seems to know how to make streaming player work properly... any help will be much appreciated since i really like the other features of this rom. very fast and stable except for the youtube and windows media player/streaming player issue...

going back to stock rom just for that its not worth it, you can still install default streaming player if im not mistaken plus there is youtube application for wm and a couple of good youtube players like core player and tcmp or kinoma play (some are not free but worth their money, specially kinoma if youtube is your thing) I will pay some money just not to go back to default rom :D so spending a few bucks for great youtube player is not that bad in my opinion off course.
