Please help a Pulse Newbie

Hi

This is my first touchscreen and I must say I am well please so far. Just a couple of questions please if you can spare a couple of mins:

1. I want to add some pictures of family/friends for contacts so their pic appears when they call, however, I have tried taking some pics with the Pulse and saving it as contact icon but it looks horrible! A bit pixilated, not at all clear like other small pics you see when browsing etc or on the demo video on the Pulse

2. I am using the the default music player and wondered how I get album art ? I tried tunewiki but when searching for album art, it kept bringing up the wrong one (right band but not the correct cover

3. When watching the demo vid on the phone, it shows scrolling left from the main home screen and having your fave pictures or music (lots of album art to scroll thru and select)...how is that done please?

Not sure about the first to questions but if you press and hold on the canvas then it should say wallpaper widgets, folders, shortcuts. And if your using the standard rom with the phone then if you click on wildcard then you can choose the music one and flick through you songs/ albums.

Have you tried transferring your pics to your pc and then uploading them to your gmail contacts?

Thank you very much for this tip I would like to give it a go. Being a newbie though, I don't know too much about gmail contacts as I have never used it! I have all my contacts details set up on my Pulse, so do i need to first some how upload those contacts to gmail and then add photos online?

If you, or anybody else could provide me with a set of instructions I would be so grateful?
