Rob, other than the fact that this is basic and you've removed a lot of stuff, is there any major differences between this 23518 and the one posted in your thread 'storms-rom-version-13-1'? Enhancements, fixes, etc?

Nothing really other than removing items. I just wanted to make a Base ROM for users that really like customizing their own ROMs.

great base rom i been wondering why if we have a clock on our today screen or so do we need it in taskbar is there a reg key to edit this or is it a ms thingy

12MB. If there is a great demand for 16MB, please let me know and I can build one. 12MB seems to be the best in my opinion. I have benchmarked the ROMS myself. At lease my own ROMS. I can't speak for other chefs.

I love the base ROM except (LOL there had to be an except) the disappearing wifi seems to have re-appeared. Otherwise it works great and fast!

Nice job Storm, I've been meaning to flash one of your roms, but you aren't listed on samsung-omnia.org so I always forget. Glad you came out with a base too, so far its really stable and sleek. Just one question, how do you change the wallpaper on the lockscreen? I tried changing the today background like every other rom but its still black. Also the phatfingers dialer has some distorted graphics. I'm sure a reinstall of the program will fix it, but just wanted to let you know.

Very nice base rom. This may sound picky but is there a way to change the burgundy colored highlighter to dark blue? I thought one of your prior roms had it in dark blue but I cannot find it. Thanks for your work.

If you like having a dark theme, try out the Tacchan version, which includes different-colored highlighters (dark blue, etc.). You can match that with either Lisbian's or Nilse's taskbar/s for a better look.

Thanks alot for the suggestion. Will it change the font sizing of all the menus? I have had this problem in the past when I add a theme to these custom roms, it shrinks all the menus and erases some of the buttons on the bottom taskbar.

I've noticed that the font sizes of each menu remain consistent... then again, I've only been testing this theme for a week. The buttons at the bottom taskbar remain the same throughout.

I'm currently testing this base rom; however, upon a soft reset, the device will generate a ".NET CF Initialization Error". I attempted to re-install .net compact framework 3.5 re., but another error prompt: "device has newer .net compact framework version. Please uninstall first before installing 3.5..." (summary). Any help, please?

Sorry that theme did not work out for you. I hope you'll find what you're looking for. Also try omniarom.com... I'm sure that site has several to choose from...
