Guest kav Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Win 7 has some issues with loading drivers into the memory, it has not only to do with the omnia but all other usb devices. cant get my pc to use my unbranded 52 in 1 card reader. worked perfectly in XP and Vista, in win 7 it doesnt even load the card when inserted, just recognises that a reader is plugged in the usb port but doesnt do anything. anyways if u really want to flash ur omnia, then just use VMware and install XP on it. its so much better this way IMHO.

Guest necosino Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 I cook and flash on Win7 x64 ultimate and do not have any issues at all. Try uninstalling any drivers you've installed for your omnia and just plug it in and let Win7 download and install the drivers, then restart your computer and try again. It should be pretty hastle free.
