Folder Disappeared in Memory Card

Does anyone had problems from time to time a folder "desappears" in the memory card? I had 1 folder where I had all the Cabs needed to install after a Rom flash but, don't know, it has disappeared.... vanished. I can't find it anywhere. Can you help me?

if you didn't erase it by accident, then you might have moved it to another folder by accident. check contents of all folders on memory card to see if it that folder might be in one of those folders. this problem can easily happen when you are on one of those file explorer apps like file explorer, total commander, or resco explorer. anyway, check it out. hopefully that's what happened instead of accidental erasure. hope this helps...

Unfortunately I don't find anywhere the folder. But, besides this folder, I found that some photos taken have wiped out and another folder has disappeared. It's not the first time I've noticed this. About a month ago I've seen that some photos had disappeared, but I thought it was my mistake.

Then possibly is your memory card faulty. Try to check it for bad sectors.

The files could be set to system files/hidden/read-only files?

i got the same problem.. file in my folder just vanished like that.. when i try to copy the same file to that folder, it wont paste.. so i make a new folder.. few days later, then from no where it just reappear.. the next day.. its gone again.. until now..

My memory had a problem. I had to format it and replace it by other. Till now, no more problems. I think it's not PDA issue but memory issue.

I experience the same problem while playing music on the Touch Player. After selecting a song for playing, a message appears at the bottom the screen which says: Unable to open file. File may have been corrupted or deleted from the device.

When I open the File manager, these files along with other files and folders seem to have been disapeared. This unfortunately seems to happen way too often.

Has anyone come up with a permanent solution for this flaw?

Ridiculously annoying isn't it?!!!I found this same problem with several media players. Think it could be something to do with the way they access the storage card.

The solution I found was installing CorePlayer. Been using it a couple of months and only once had the dreaded disappearing folder1
