Guest cTn Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 "HTC HAS FINALLY RELEASED" ??? google released
Guest Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 I don't really know what this means. I am happy for you though. :)
Guest shenshang Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 Basically its a sign that HTC will soon be releasing 2.1 for hero :)
Guest Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 You should put that in the first post. You could learn LOADS from the other thread.
Guest stevenz Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 Basically its a sign that HTC will soon be releasing 2.1 for hero :) SDK = Software Development Kit - For developers to write applications for the Nexus (currently the only 2.1 device available to consumers afaik). HTC already obviously had all the 2.1 firmware code for sometime to actually put onto the Nexus that they made, they don't need the Google-supplied SDK as they obviously already had some form of it. Primary benefit of the 2.1 SDK over the 2.0 SDK will likely be for people to churn out mountains of animated wallpapers onto the appstore. As has been the case all along, 2.1 for the Hero could be out next week, or it could be a couple of months away, we just don't know.

Its 2010 and we are still waiting B) D

Guest blackcoffee85 Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 Thing is, HTC skipped 2.0 for hero I think it's the case that Google have released the 2.1 SDK, HTC have just tweeted about it.
