Good news for chinese users. Although I don't really need this myself, I pretty much am using LIME instead of handwriting :)

Will this work for the CDMA Hero? Also, is this Traditional or Simplified Chinese, and what input methods does it have? I have been looking for a way to input Traditional Chinese, but have not found one yet. Thanks!

I've installed update over MCR3.1 but when I click on "Touch Input Chinese" I get the following FC outputs in logcat:

try to change the settings while in edit (e.g. SMS composing), by:

1. holding track ball/entering field and select touch input chinese,

2. hold the 中/En key (with a gear on top of it) and select the last option (which will enter the settings page)

it's weird sometimes CIME behaves like this..

I m using ur core rom 3.1 and applied this patch.. but i saw the "touch input chinese" at locale @& text setting. but it give me this error msg "the application touch input chinese (process com.htc.adnroid.cime) has stopped unexpectedly"

oh! my issue solved. I just follow the instruction given by maddiez. Then i can activate the chinese input @ sms. thanks for much!!!!
