Guest rss2k Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 Just out of curiousity I put the SIM (KPN) from my business phone in the Dutch T-Mobile Pulse and it worked out of the box, no need for unlocking. I am wondering if this is standard with the dutch T-Mobile Pulses or am I lucky because I got it in the first week it was available? So are there more Dutch T-Mobile Pulse users who have tested a different operator SIM?
Guest Yaboo Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 (edited) I also got a simlockvrij Pulse. But the problem is we paid much more money for it. :) (Actully Saturn and Mediamarkt Rotterdam mentioned it's a simlockvrij phone) Edited January 12, 2010 by Yaboo
Guest Casper-vH Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 Mine was unlocked too... Even though the stupid sales person told me it wasnt >< If you buy it in the Tmobile shop it is unlocked, but I read on tweakers, that most internet companies sell it locked. Feel raped on the price... I paid €280 for it :) Which is almost twice as much as it would cost in britain B)
Guest rss2k Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 I do not understand the pricedifference either. I got it for free, with a 1 year subscription and dataplan. It cost me 30€ per month, so 1 year total: 360€ and all the phonecalls I need to make. I even have too many minutes, but I can sell these minutes and retrieve about 150€. All in all a good deal.

Two weeks later, I saw the Britain price...... :S
Guest snikje Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 prices are a bit odd but if you check the difference vs sim only you will find it costs about 120 euro extra. nto that much more then in UK example: i have 20 euro monthly +10 euro unlimited data. got the phone for free with 1 year contract. now if i bought sim only (so just paying the cheapest possible for my calls etc) the same plan costs only 10euro a month. unlimited data does not change at all.(there is no sim only variant) that means i pay 10euro*12 months = 120 euro more for the phone . all other costs are not phone related since i would have them regardless of wich phone i choose to use. oh and yes i got mine unlocked from t-mobile as well.
