i910 big problem

My friend leave me his i910, he receive his phone from a tech service , they tell him that the update the software but the phone has signal issues, so i check the phone they flash the phone with a i900 cooked rom ... so i have a i900L but with this phone i dont know what to do, i search in the forum , got the UMDL and the .img cf03 and find the cooked rom that they install , but the umdl hangs on downloading eboot, same as the .exe of the cook rom, i really could use a hand in here plz :)

pretty sure that if you flash an i910 with a i900 rom the phone is pretty much dead, could be wrong but that seems to be what i've heard.

:S i really need to be sure , so i can return the phone, i try to dissamble a cook rom for the i900 and put inside the eboot from the cf03 could't find the eboot of the older VZ rom, and reasseble the .exe i run the rom and the phone get detect but hangs on eboot download, i was searching around see if i can unpack the vz rom i mean the .img to se if i can get the pda.bin and phone.bin maybe assemble a grand prix with those the phone gets radio or something i dont know but i can unpack that .img dont found how.

Find a ROM that's guaranteed to brick the phone, then send it in for a replacement.
