Guest 30secs Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 SPB Backup? I don't know much about SB. Can it restore everything after a hard reset? including installed apps, configs, system changes etc?

Hi There is an excellent application - SpriteBackup You can backup and restore everything and exactly to the save state as it was before reset - including systemstate, all files and even storage files
Guest SilverPony2001 Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 (edited) I don't know much about SB. I have flashed to a different ROM, didn't like it and flashed back to an older ROM that I did a full backup on, restored, and everything was the same as if I never had flashed. But I would never restore on a different ROM, that wasn't backed up. But if you are doing a hard reset, you are doing it for a reason. And if you hard reset and restore a backup, it's like you never did the reset in the first place. Edited January 15, 2010 by SilverPony2001

Some time ago I was a fan of Sprite Backup, but under WM6.X I've had a couple of bad experiences with this program. SPB Backup is now my choice. Works perfectly under WM6.5 Best Regards
