Step by step: from MoDaCo 3.1 to MoDaCo 3.1 Chinese

Well, you must have MoDaCo 3.0 or above (I've tested).

In this forum, nanyou post a custom rom, and I post these file for you guys who want to use MoDaCo Chinese rom like before.I'm not a professional developer, don't ask me for more.I got the file from some forum/site, but I can't remember them now.

Please download these files:

1.Use more-locale 2 from android market.

2.Connect your phone with usb,replace the file use adb cmd.

adb remount

 adb push libsqlite.so /system/lib

 adb push libicudata.so /system/lib

This is a fixed libsqlite for chinese contacts search by dialup.and libicudata.so make the contacts list by name, it also makes the app list by name.

3.Install htc-cime.zip like update.zip

Boot your phone into recovery and update it. This zip file I've checked, it include many lib files for the phone.I tried uninstall the HTC_CIME after update,the dialup search still work!

4.After step 1 to 3, if your phone still not work proper, do this:

-Backup your contacts.(If you use google sync, that help you much.)

-Go to "Settings=>Applications=>Manage applications=>Contacts Storage", then "Clear data"

-Restore your contacts.

notice: for google sync user, clear data will remove all your contacts from the phone.but not google contacts, so don't worry.but,DONOT delete your contact list from "Contacts", it will sync to google as an update.

5.I'll be back soon.

ps: If you do this when you use 3.0 rom, update your rom to 3.1 without wipe.it still work.

Is it can support Nexus one or Andorid 2.1 ？？

I flash CM 5.0beat2 Rom for Nexus one, i find some libsqlite.so libcudata.so, Contact can sort Chinese, but still has two problem:

1.can not search Chinese in contact

2.can not support match Chinese in Dialup auto

my htc-cime.zip only include simplified lib. you may use paul's beta

after install/uninstall the ime many times,i notice that the dialup search must base on ime's lib. so i think you may push the all lib files into your phone's "/system/lib". the htc_cime.apk is not important.
