Guest billtt
Hi, thanks for such a greate rom! Everything works fine for me except PPTP VPN. Actually I've tried other 2.0 or 2.1 roms but unfortunately none works for me. The problem is when I connect to an PPTP VPN server, it shows connecting and after a while displays an error message says cannot connect or something. Here is part of the logcat (hope I got the right part): I/ActivityManager( 89): Start proc com.android.server.vpn:remote for service c om.android.server.vpn/.VpnServiceBinder: pid=3073 uid=1000 gids={3003, 3002, 300 1} D/VpnManager( 187): succeeded to connect to VPN service I/ActivityManager( 89): Displayed activity com.android.settings/.vpn.VpnSettin gs: 1069 ms (total 1069 ms) D/VpnSettings( 187): received connectivity: test: connected? Ill post my thoughts on build in the KaguDroid post M Please don't report issues on that ROM, when you've had them here. I'd really be interested in your 'etc.' about what doesn't work. I can't fix stuff if you don't properly report it.

Wifi kept disconnecting camera preview img messed up apart from that very nice Rom indeed Sorry didn't mean to offend i didn't post details of issues in earlier post because i didn't think they where much to worry about and probably already reported. kind regards M
Guest jnwhiteh
You didn't offend, I just like to be able to fix things when I can. I'm almost positive that the CoPilot issue is something the application developers need to be made aware of.
Guest erugalatha
I upgraded to the r5 build and things with battery look good. (No wipe and installed with new version of Googleybits) Just some things I have noticed with r5 build: 1. 3g is now working again. 2. I now have an MP3 Store app installed (I didn't install it) that appears to be running but it is not listed in the Menu on the phone only in running applications and Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications. There seems to be no way to start the MP3 Store. 3. There is an app called Car Home. I didn't install this but when I try to start it the app screen controls seems out of alignment. There seems to be no way to uninstall it either. 4. Battery life seems better than r4 but once it gets to 12% it then rapidly goes and the phone does not seem to last as long from 12% to 0% stage of battery life. Still very fast ROM and I am impressed with it so thank you for your efforts jnwhiteh.
Guest maxld
Reporting that in r5 battery life is strong as hell, disconnected from charger yesterday at 10am and I have still 80% left. Fantastic job - thanks.

Guest jnwhiteh
Last second news - phone suddenly restarted while lying down on bed, what could cause this? Something? I have no idea, without any more information (which it would be difficult for you to provide). I'm working on cleaning some things up now.

Guest carpao
I'm almost positive that the CoPilot issue is something the application developers need to be made aware of. I'm pretty sure that he is referring to old versions (.328 or .344 , i.e., the last cracked :-) ) that is known that are not compatible with android 2.1. then I could be wrong... ;-) but... I'm sorry but I've tried to "install"(actually it's not a APK, have to be flashed into) the IME that publish in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=512530 (it's for 1.5), but it does not seem to work, it said force exit. So, I have to come to you, :) I wonder if there is a HTC_CIME on Ecliar, or it doesn't exist ever? Edited January 31, 2010 by princescar
