I understand your problem, but there's a reason why the screen turns itself off during a call. Since it's a touchscreen phone, you could accidentally press buttons with your ear or your head. And you don't want to end a call with your ear :)

The phone uses the proximity sensor on the front to see if your phone is close to another object (like your head)

There's no option to turn this off in the settings, but maybe there's something in the registry. Although I recommend to keep using it the way it is, because it's there with a very good reason :)

Good luck!

Now, I know my real problem... The B7610 has a proximity sensor, the one turns off the screen to protect that you dont press with your ear the screen.

But this made the program i use (minute beep) to stop working, so what i really need to do is to turn off the proximity sensor, so does any one knows how to turn it off with a tweak or how to do it on the registry.

Thanks

I haven't know how to turn the sensor off but you should try to go this way.

Press up or down volume control botton once when you are in call.

The screen will never turn off again till you go offline.

Hope it help.
