Underneath the "sign in" and "create account" buttons, there should be a "skip" button. You might need to scroll down.

NO, nothing is underneath the "sign in" i cant scroll down or its not available.

Too many patter attempts. sign in with google account:

than two fields for user/pass

than sign in button. and emergency call button.

Well, if you already saved you e-mail information on phone (on first boot, or when checking mail) you don't have to be connected on internet.

Okay - sorry I thought you were activating for the first time.

It sounds like someone has set a pattern lock, and someone else has tried to unlock the pattern using the wrong combination.

Ask your friend to sign in with his google account (just once!) so you can unlock it. Then remove the pattern code and switch over to your google account. (This advice is a bit of a guess - I haven't ever locked myself out).

I have no prob in entering the gmail account and pass.... but to validate the device need to communicate with the internet. and i have 2 options for that either via GPRS or wifi.... i have data plan for my sevice provider and also hve the wifi availble. but i need to set the parameters for my service provider ( like APN etc) to have the access to the internet. where i enter the parameters and how. Thats the issue i think.

You can manually edit the file that stores your WiFi networks. Look here.

Then you should be able to log in to your WiFi network :)

EDIT: You would have to root your device first, if it isn't yet rooted.
