Guest juan1088 Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 Is there any way to share my notebook's internet connection with my Pulse via wifi? I tried to build an "ad hoc" connection, but only wifi analyzer saw that, I couldn't connect to it in the menu. Using micro vista home premium, my notebook is a Dell XPS M1530, with dell 1395 wlan card. Thanks for your help!
Guest rss2k Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 (edited) I do not understand this. If your Dell is connected via wifi to internet then the Pulse should also be able to connect via wifi. Why do you want your PC in the middle? Or is your laptop connected via wire? Then you need some kind of wireless router software on the laptop. I am pretty sure this should be available, but I have no experience with that. Edit: a bit of googling found this: http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/a/wireless/2...nXPUnwired.html Edited January 14, 2010 by rss2k
Guest geez Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 (edited) I think the main problem is pulse's incapability to connect/create an adhoc network. Edited January 14, 2010 by geez
Guest David Horvath Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 We already have two topics regarding this. Ad hoc wifi.
