MCR 3.0 and Calendar Widget

Sorry for yet another noddy topic but I'm having issues with the 4x1 HTC Calendar widget. It doesnt seem to show anything, it just always says 'No Events Today or Tomorrow' even though there are loads of things in my calendar. If i go into the Data Sync menu in settings the Calendar always has the little sync symbol next to it. I've tried deleting the Cache for the Calendar in the Applications menu and then reysyncing but it has not made any difference. I am only using my googlemail calendar, not outlook. Any ideas?

I had the same issue

For me, adding an appointment BEFORE the first sync fixed it once and I've not seen it again (despite periodic Wipes)

Well I added some appointments but then I deleted the the calendar cache as well as calendar storage and it seems to have sorted it.
