Guest feelmychi Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Okay, well, I've been playing around with the emulators on my pulse for a little now (and YES, I do own all the roms that I use :)), and the one thing that would really enhance the experience on all only touch screen Android devices (and maybe only in my opinion) is some kind of attachable mini keyboard (or something to that effect). Does something like that exist, or am I gonna have to get out my soldering iron and Android SDK guide...? feelmychi
Guest mehall Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 You might find a mini-bluetooth keyboard perhaps? BT is the best bet by far, thought it'll probably need the SDK and probably rooting too.
Guest Bakes Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 This url seems like a good shot: http://www.mymobilegear.com/showthread.php?t=1273 I wouldn't think that any soldering would be a good idea though :) Bluetooth would for sure be your best bet, though I guess it would be somewhat ugly, since it would not be a custom pulse keyboard. Have you tried shapewriter? It can get you typing really fast without a need for a hard keyboard. I hear that swype is coming out soon, which is meant to be similar also, and the makers of that claim 50 words per minute from a trained user.
